Last week, at Proyecto Uremu, we had the honor of welcoming renowned Honduran conductor and cellist José Dubón and virtuoso violinist Xiaoqing Yu, who traveled all the way from China to share their musical knowledge and passion with our young musicians in San Pedro Sula.
Our students from the Col. San Roberto de Sula community participated in orchestra and instrumental masterclasses, resulting in a transformative experience filled with learning, growth, and motivation. These special sessions strengthen our mission to provide free music education to children and youth at risk of social exclusion.
🎶 During the masterclasses, our students eagerly absorbed valuable teachings, advanced techniques, and practical advice to help them improve their musical skills. Opportunities like these are essential for their personal and artistic growth and demonstrate the power of music to transform lives and build a better future.
We are deeply grateful to José Dubón and Xiaoqing Yu for their generosity, dedication, and commitment to our community. Their visit left an unforgettable mark and motivates our students to keep striving toward their dreams.
You can also support our mission and contribute to the future of these young musicians! Consider making a donation or collaborating with Proyecto Uremu to continue providing free music education and human development opportunities.
