On Monday, February 24th, we had a joyful and heartwarming afternoon as we welcomed our dear donors from the Honduran-German Association (DHG) and the Weitblick Organization, who traveled all the way from Germany to share a special moment with our students, teachers, and families from the Rivera Hernández and Col. San Roberto de Sula communities. The visit took place at the Teresita Campos Music Hall, as part of our partnership with the Paso a Paso Socio-Educational Program.
Our students gave their all through performances full of talent and passion, showcasing the transformative power of music with:
Bucket percussion ensembles
Choir
Soloists
Symphony Orchestra
Beyond the performances, our guests had the opportunity to listen to the students share their musical experiences and how music education and human development with Uremu have positively impacted their lives. This exchange was a powerful reminder of the purpose and mission that drives us every day.
The generous donation of instruments, accessories, and more from DHG has been essential to our work, allowing us to continue providing opportunities to more children and young people who find in music a path towards a better future.
Thank you, dear Association, for your unwavering support and for traveling such a long way to share the power of music with us! This visit inspires us to keep moving forward, building a future full of hope and harmony for our students.
We will keep moving forward, together, with music and love!
